The CJCC has been meeting monthly to confront and comprehend the complex issues of justice and to make recommendations to the County Board of Commissioners. The group has focused on developing strategies to alleviate jail overcrowding.
This three-pronged strategy is explained in Washtenaw County Administrator Bob Guenzel's Recommendations on Public Safety, which has received unanimous support from the CJCC.
