How do I schedule Inspections?

In order to schedule an Inspection you must have: Permit Number, Permit Address, Permit Holder, Jurisdiction located, and type of inspection requested. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to schedule inspections. Job site address must be clearly visible from road and permit posted.

To Schedule Inspections:

Call 734-222-3910 Mon. thru Fri. 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Inspection Times:

A permit holder may call the inspector between 8 and 9 a.m. the day of the scheduled inspection, to inquire as to the part of the day that the inspector thinks he/she will perform the inspection. The part of the day given is approximate and unforeseen circumstances may cause the inspector to alter the part of day originally given to the permit holder. The inspector cannot be held responsible for early arrivals or delays.

Please Note:

• Cancellation of inspections must be made by 9:00 a.m. the day of the inspection, before the inspectors leave the office

• No final inspections will be conducted if reinspection fees are owed

• House numbers must be visible from the road

• Permit(s) must be posted on job site
