My 8 Rules For Safety
What should I do in the case of an Emergency?
When should I call 9-1-1?
- If you are in an accident or a fire, or if you get lost
- If you are home alone, and someone strange tries to get in or makes you feel uncomfortable
- If you see a house or car on fire
- If someone is choking, unconcsious or hurt badly
When someone asks you to call for Police, Fire, or Ambulance, pick up the phone and Dial 9, then 1, then 1 again.
Don't hang up! An adult will answer and help you.
What should I do when I call?
- Speak loudly and clearly and then tell him or her:
- The address you are calling from
- The phone number you are calling from
- Your name
- Why you need Help
