TOWNSHIP OF FREEDOM

TAX-RATE LIMITATION AND LEVY PROPOSAL

(FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE)

Shall the limitation on the total amount of general ad valorem taxes which may be assessed in any one year upon real and tangible personal property in the Township of Freedom, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be increased, as provided by Section 6 of Article IX of the Constitution of Michigan, 1963, by 1.00 mills ($1.00 per $1,000.00) of the taxable value for a period of five (5) years, 2007-2011, inclusive, and shall the levy of such a tax be authorized for the purpose of providing additional revenue for fire and rescue services, which increase will raise in the first year of such levy an estimated $86,886.60?

Lincoln Consolidated Schools

OPERATING MILLAGE PROPOSAL

This proposal will enable the school district to levy the statutory rate of 18 mills on all property except principal residence, qualified agricultural property and qualified forest property required for the school district to receive its revenue per pupil foundation allowance.

Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against all property, exempting therefrom principal residence, qualified agricultural property and qualified forest property as defined by law, in Lincoln Consolidated School District, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties, Michigan, be increased by 2 mills ($2.00 on each $1,000.00 of taxable valuation) for a period of 7 years, 2007 to 2013, inclusive, to provide funds for operating purposes; the estimate of the revenue the school district will collect if the millage is approved and levied in 2007 is approximately $438,484 (this millage is to restore millage lost as a result of the reduction required by the Michigan Constitution of 1963 and will be levied only to the extent necessary to restore that reduction)?

MILLAGE PROPOSAL TO PROVIDE EARMARKED
FUNDS TO OPERATE A SYSTEM OF
PUBLIC RECREATION AND PLAYGROUNDS

Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against all property in Lincoln Consolidated School District, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties, Michigan, be increased by and the board of education be authorized to levy not to exceed .25 mill ($0.25 on each $1,000.00 of taxable valuation) for a period of 20 years, 2007 to 2026, inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for operating a system of public recreation and playgrounds, including a senior center; if approved, the estimate of the revenue the school district will collect for such recreational program the first year of levy, 2007, is approximately $239,805?

MILLAGE PROPOSAL, BUILDING AND SITE
SINKING FUND TAX LEVY

Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against all property in Saline Area Schools, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be increased by and the board of education be authorized to levy not to exceed .47 mill ($0.47 on each $1,000.00 of taxable valuation) for a period of 10 years, 2007 to 2016, inclusive, to create a sinking fund for the construction or repair of school buildings and all other purposes authorized by law; the estimate of the revenue the school district will collect if the millage is approved and levied in 2007 is approximately $745,512?
