PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

 

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSED ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MILLAGE  OF 0.07 OF A MILL TO BE LEVIED IN DECEMBER, 2014

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at 6:45 p.m., Michigan time in the Board Room of the County Administration Building located at 220 N. Main Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan for the purpose of taking public comment on a proposed economic development millage of 0.07 of a mill (costing $7.00 for each $100,000 of taxable value) which the Board of Commissioners is authorized to levy pursuant to Public Act 88 of 1913 ( MCLA 46.161) and which, if approved by the Board of Commissioners, will be levied in December, 2014, and will generate approximately $1,022,276.00 for use in calendar year 2015.

 

The County of Washtenaw will provide the necessary auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audiotapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting/hearing upon seven (7) days notice to the County of Washtenaw.  Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the County of Washtenaw by writing or calling the following:  Human Resources; 220 North Main Street; P.O.
