Commissioner Ping was elected in office in November 2006 and sworn into office on January 3, 2007.

Jessica is a lifelong resident of Washtenaw County.  Since graduating from Saline High School and Grand Valley State University, with a business degree she has enjoyed a career as a successful businesswoman at Paychex, Inc. for 10 years.

Jessica is a member of the Saline United Methodist Church, Michigan Federation of Young Republicans, the HBA and several local Chambers of Commerce.  Jessica also serves on the Drug Forfeiture Committee, Local Development Finance Authority of Saline, River Raisin Watershed Council, and the Washtenaw Area Transportation Study Committee.  Jessica resides in Lodi Township with her husband Kevin and her son Sullivan.
