Commissioner Mark Ouimet was elected to the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners effective January 1, 2005.  For 2007 Commissioner Ouimet serves as the Vice-Chair of the Board Working Session.

Commissioner Ouimet serves on the Accommodations Ordinance Commission, Local Development Finance Authority for Augusta Township, Michigan Township Association, Money Purchase Pension Plan, Road Commission (alternate), Southeastern MIchigan Council of Governments (alternate), and the Workforce Development Board (private sector).
