1. Water Resources

a.    2011 Survey and Remonumentation Grant (Application)

• Authorizing the County Administrator to sign the application
• To the Michigan Department of Energy, Labor, and Economic Growth
• For the period of 1/1/11 – 12/31/11
• To implement the Revised Plan for Remonumentation on Monumentation of Public Land Survey as approved in 1992 by the Board of Commissioners
• To research and monument 72 corners with local jurisdictions, contributing to the accuracy of the Geographic Information System (GIS) base
• In 2010, the County was awarded $100,664 to research and monument 62 corners
• For a total program of $105,222
  -State Revenue: $105,222
  -County Match: $0
• Indirect costs are not included in this grant
• Appointing Daniel R. Myers as Grant Administrator and Lori E. Beyer as the Grant Representative for the 2011 Survey and Remonumentation Grant
• Upon receipt of the award:
  -Authorizing the Grant Administrator to sign the notice of grant award
  -Amending the budget as attached hereto and made a part hereof
  -Authorizing the Administrator to confirm subcontractors and sign delegate contracts upon review of Corporation Counsel
