Saline Automotive Components Holdings, LLC Brownfield Redevelopment Plan (Brownfield Plan)

• Adopting the proposed amendment
• To the Brownfield Plan for Washtenaw County
• For the period of 4/1/10 – 3/31/11
• To support the continued economic viability and growth of a large manufacturing facility in the City of Saline
• To invest in new equipment to maintain the competitive position of the facility in the vehicle manufacturing marketplace
• It is estimated that this project will result in retaining 2,000 jobs and the operation of the largest taxpayer in the City of Saline
• To make project eligible for Michigan Business Tax credits
• Tax Increment Financing resulting in local/state tax capture isn’t requested for this project

RECOMMENDATION: Approval
