A. Land Use & Environment

Water Resources Commissioner

Wing Drain Project - Full Faith & Credit (Resolution) (Order of Issuance) (Location Map)

• To pledge Washtenaw County's Full Faith and Credit for payment of bonds not to exceed $525,000 for the Wing Drain Project
• To alleviate flooding concerns by replacing pipes, regarding open channels, and adding additional pipe to the storm sewers
• The Water Resources Commissioner was petitioned by property owners within the Wing Drain District to make improvements to the drain
• Bonds will be retired through special assessments against Scio Township, Washtenaw County, and Property Owners within the Wing District

RECOMMENDATION: Approval

B. Public Safety & Justice

Sheriff

Annual Safe Communities Grant (Application)

• Ratifying the electronic submission of the application and grant agreement
• To Michigan State Police, Office of Highway Safety Planning
• For the period of 10/1/09 to 9/30/10
• To provide safety belt and drunk-driving enforcement during the seasonal holiday periods and throughout the year
• To improve countywide enforcement of underage drinking laws
• For a total program of $163,985
  -State Revenue: $163,985
  -County Match: $0
• No indirect costs are included
• Upon receipt of the award:
  -Authorizing the Administrator to sign the notice of grant award
  -Authorizing the Administrator to approve the budget
  -Authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts

RECOMMENDATION: Approval at the Board

Collective Bargaining Agreement - AFSCME Local 2733

• Approve the agreement with AFSCME Local 2733
• The timeframe is a two-year period, January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2011
• Specifying a number of adjustments to wages and other benefit modifications

Collective Bargaining Agreement - Michigan Nurses Association Units I and II

• Approve the agreement with Michigan Nurses Association Units I and II
• The timeframe is a two-year period, January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2011
• Specifying a number of adjustments to wages and other benefit modifications

Collective Bargaining Agreement - Assistant Prosecutors Association

• Approve the agreement with Assistant Prosecutors Association
• The timeframe is a two-year period, January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2011
• Specifying a number of adjustments to wages and other benefit modifications
