Facilities Management Vendor Pools for Construction/Renovation Services ( General Contractor) ( Electrical) Authorizing the creation of two separate vendor pools, one for general construction work and one for electrical work To provide a variety of construction/renovation services to the County on an as-needed basis Authorizing the County Administrator to execute vendor pool contracts with the following companies for general construction work: Allied Building Service Company of Detroit, Inc., Carver Construction Company, and Krull Construction Authorizing the County Administrator to execute vendor pool contracts with the following companies for electrical work: Huron Valley Electric, Ronald A. Meyer Electric, Inc., and Shaw Electric Company Companies in both vendor pools are required to sign a Construction Unity Board (CUB) Agreement based on Washtenaw Countys Procurement Policy Corporation Counsel will work with Facilities and Purchasing to draft a procedure to assign work among the vendor pool members which is in the best interest of the County and its contractors RECOMMENDATION: Approval |
