Civic Infrastructure Community of Interest

Clerk/Register of Deeds Office

Digital Inclusion Grant (Application)

• Ratifying the electronic submission of the application

• To the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation

• For the period of June 1, 2008 to May 31, 2009

• To provide hands-on computer experience for youth who will refurbish 150 computers
  
• To then sell refurbished computers to citizens and non-profits in need of computers, and to provide training to these consumers

• For the total program of $56,765

    .               - Grant: $19,100

     .              - County: $37,665

      .             - In-Kind: $37,665

• Indirect costs are not eligible for reimbursement

• Upon receipt of the award:

       .            - Authorizing the Administrator to sign the notice of grant awards

        .           - Amending the budget

        .          - Authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts

RECOMMENDATION: Approval at the Board

Labor Relations

1. Collective Bargaining Agreements – Teamsters Local #214Probation Agents/ Supervisor

• Approving the agreement with Teamsters Local #214 – Probation Agents/ Supervisor, Washtenaw County and the Washtenaw County District Court

• The contract term is three years (2008-2010)

• Specifying a number of adjustments to wages and other benefit modifications, as well as non-economic operational language agreements

RECOMMENDATION: Approval

2. Collective Bargaining Agreements – Teamsters Local #214Clerical Unit

• Approving the agreement with Teamsters Local #214 – Clerical Unit, Washtenaw County and the Washtenaw County District Court
  .
• The contract term is three years (2008-2010)

• Specifying a number of adjustments to wages and other benefit modifications, as well as non-economic operational language agreements

RECOMMENDATION: Approval

3. Collective Bargaining Agreements – Michigan Nurses Association Unit I

• Approving the agreement with Michigan Nurses Association-Unit I

• The contract term is three years (2008-2010)

• Specifying a number of adjustments to wages and other benefit modifications, as well as non-economic operational language agreements
