Ratifying the signature of the Administrator on the application

To the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality

For the period 7/1/06 7/1/08

To conduct assessments of chemistry laboratories within Washtenaw County, identify potential risks, and offer access to hazardous chemical disposal resources

For a total program of $31,956
o State Revenue: $24,000
o Match: $ 7,956 (In-kind $5,856; Cash $2,100)
o Indirect Costs: 0

Upon receipt of the award:

    • Authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award
    • Amending the budget
    • Authorizing the Administrator to sign the delegate contracts

RECOMMENDATION: Approval

Support Services Community of Interest

Department of Infrastructure & Planning

Wireless Washtenaw Governance Structure & Master Agreement

Approving the proposed Wireless Washtenaw Governance Structure and organizational chart

To establish an Executive Operations Committee, a Stakeholder Committee and a Strategic Advisory Committee to oversee the Wireless Washtenaw initiative and formally report recommendations to the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners

Approving the Wireless Washtenaw Master Participation Agreement

To allow Washtenaw County to act as the lead entity and coordinate efforts to deploy a county-wide network utilizing assets from local units of government

Authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts

Approving a budget adjustment to allow the proper close out of the 2005 fiscal year

  1. Police Services Costs for 2008-2009

Approving the 2008-2009 charges to local contracting entities for police services under the current 4-year contract

Approving the county-wide services to be provided by the County in 2008-2009 under the contract

Authorizing the County Administrator to take all action necessary to implement the changes to the police services contract
