1. Annual Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Incumbent Worker Program

  • To provide training services to employers to upgrade existing employee skills in an effort to avoid layoff situations

  • To provide employment training services to individuals who have been providing unpaid services to family members in the home, who have been dependent on the income of another family member but are no longer supported by that income, who are unemployed or underemployed, and are experiencing difficult in obtaining or upgrading employment.

Annual 2006 Cooperative Reimbursement Program

  • Ratifying the signature of the Chair of the Board on the application
  • To the Department of Human Services- Office of Child Support
  • For the period 10/1/05 9/30/06

  • To provide services to residents who are seeking to establish paternity and/or child support orders.

  • To provide partial cost reimbursement for Prosecuting Attorney expenses as they relate to prosecuting paternity and/or non-payment of child support cases

  • In the amount of $781,371:
    -Revenue: $515,705
    -County Match: $265,666
    -Indirect Costs: $68,805
