Trial Court – Family Division
- Ratifying signature of the Administrator on the application
- To the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention
- For the period of July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2008
- In the amount of $450,000
- To provide funding for substance abuse treatment, medical care, drug testing, skill-building and recognition activities for Juvenile Drug Court participants
- Also provides funding for program evaluation, data collection, and staff training efforts
- Total program costs of $987,800
-Federal Revenue: $450,000
-Child Care Fund: $260,327 (50% reimbursement)
-Additional Revenue: $277,473 (anticipate funding from Byrne and SCAO grants)
-No additional General Fund dollars
-Indirect Costs: $66,041
- Upon receipt of the award:
-amending the budget
-authorizing the Administrator to sign the delegate contracts
RECOMMENDATION: Approval at the Board meeting
B. Support Services Community of Interest
Support Services – Facilities Management
- Ratifying the signature of the Administrator on the grant application
- To the Michigan Department of Consumer and Industry Services’ Energy Office
- For the period 6/1/05 – 5/31/06
- To provide continued support to the coalition of private, public, and non-profit agencies to help address energy efficiency needs and raise awareness of energy efficiency opportunities
- To support third year by performing detailed energy assessments on a minimum of eight buildings throughout the County, creating a website, expanding the coalition to incorporate University of Michigan and Ypsilanti City representation, and develop a sustainability plan
- For a total program of $30,027
-State Revenue: $12,500
-Match: $17,527 (Inkind)
-Indirect Costs: $2,500
- Upon receipt of the award:
-Authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award
-Amending the budget
-Authorizing the Administrator to sign the delegate contracts
