2004-05 Child Care Fund Application

o Ratifying the signature of the Chair of the Board on the Budget Summary Form 2091 application

o With the Michigan Family Independence Agency

o For the period 10/1/04 – 9/30/05

o To provide reimbursement of estimated expenditures for family foster care, institutional care, in-home care, independent living and pre-adoptive care

o For 50% reimbursement on estimated expenditures of $9,296,901 for state funding of $4,647,451

o For 100% reimbursement on pre-adoptive care estimated expenditures of $5,696

o For a total estimated reimbursement of $4,653,147

RECOMMENDATION: Approval

Clean Michigan Initiative – Brownfield Remediation Project

o Ratifying the signature of the Administrator on the application

o To the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality

o To provide brownfield site remediation clean up and related activities for the City of Ann Arbor’s Broadway Village at Lower Town Brownfield Redevelopment Project

o For a total program of $1,000,000
-State Revenue: $1,000,000
-Match: 0
-Indirect Costs: 0

o Upon receipt of the award:
-Authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award
-Amending the budget
-Authorizing the Administrator to sign the delegate contracts

Amendments to the Washtenaw County Refinancing Bonds, Series 2005 (Series 1999 Refunding)

o Approving the amendment to refunding bonds

o Not to exceed $12,200,000

o Washtenaw County Refunding Bonds, Series 2005 (Series 1999 Refunding)

o Technical amendments include: (1) name of the issue; (2) years of maturities; (3) amount of the maturities; first interest payment; and size of the bond issue.
