Ø      For the purpose of completing the implementation of the Homeless Management Information System; ongoing management and development of the system; technical assistance and education to the nonprofit sector and county departments providing services to the homeless population

 

Ø      Creating a 1.0 revenue generating Management Analyst I/II position

       -Grade 27/29, Group 32

  Salary Range:  $32,225 - $54,493

Annual Summer Food Program

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ø      Ratifying the signature of the Administrator on the application

Ø      To the United States Department of Agriculture

Ø      For the period 6/16/03 – 8/22/03

 

Ø      To provide 10,000 breakfasts, 34,000 lunches and 8,125 snacks at no cost to children from low-income families at 40 sites throughout the County

 

Ø      Dexter Community Schools to prepare and deliver meals to designated sites for the program

 

Ø      For a total program of $135,900

   -Federal Revenue:      $135,900

Ø      Upon receipt of the award:

   -Authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award

Additional Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Funding

Ø      For the period 4/1/03 – 9/30/03

 

Ø      To provide emergency energy services to avoid disconnection of utility services to 156 individuals whose annual family income is at or below 150% of poverty level

 

Ø      For a total program of $77,981

   -Federal Revenue:      $77,981

   -Indirect Costs:  0

 

Ø      Upon receipt of the award:

   -Authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award

Ø      To provide funding for the provision of acquiring domestic preparedness response equipment as designated on the approved supplies and equipment list designated by the State of Michigan

 

Ø      For a total funding of $108,593

   -Local Fire & Law Enforcement   $55,000

   -HVA HazMat Support Team        12,000

   -Wash. Co. HazMat Team             26,593

Assault Crisis Center/Safe House

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ø      Endorsing the consolidation of the County Sexual Assault Crisis Center Program with the Domestic Violence Project, Inc/SAFE House

 

Ø      Allocating $50,000 of general fund per year for 2004, 2005 & 2006 to support sexual assault services through the Domestic Violence Program/Safe House by redirecting $25,000 of the Human Services funding and reallocating $25,000 from the Washtenaw County Coalition on Gender Violence and Safety

 

Ø      Authorizing the Administrator to sign the agreement

Annual Victims of Crime Act Application (VOCA)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ø      Ratifying the signature of the Administrator on the application

Ø      To the Michigan Department of Community Health

Ø      For the period 10/1/03 – 9/30/04

 

Ø      To provide victims with informed and supportive crisis counseling and reducing the effects of sexual victimization

 

Ø      Removing the grant status designation on the Volunteer Services Coordinator position

 

Ø      For a total program of $135,791

Ø      -Federal Revenue:       $108,633

Ø      -Match:                        $ 27,158

Ø      -Indirect Costs:  0

 

Ø      Upon receipt of the award

Ø      -Authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award
