Planning & Environment

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hazardous Mitigation Grant Program

 

 

 

 

 

         Authorizing the Administrator to sign the application

         To the Michigan State Police Emergency Management Division

         For the period May 2003 November 2004

 

         To prepare collaborative plan of the community profiles and inventory of assets, inventory of hazards and compilation of hazard information on GIS, define community goals and objectives, identify feasibility mitigation strategies, implementation and monitoring of strategies and a plan amendment process

 

         A committee of partners comprised of Washtenaw County, Ann Arbor City and local units of government will be established to help guide the plan

 

         With plan in place local units of government eligible to apply for FEMA funds

 

         For a total project of $114,000

    -Federal revenue:       $80,000

   -Match:                        $34,000 (inkind)

 

         Upon receipt of the award:

   -Authorizing the Administrator to sign the notice of Grant Award

   -Amending the budget

   -Authorizing the Administrator to sign the delegate contracts
