						Michigan Works! Service Center Plan

						Ratifying the signature of the Chair of the Board on the plan application To the Michigan Jobs Commission For the period 07/01/99 – 6/30/00 To provide a comprehensive master plan for all programs funded through the Office of Workforce Development (formerly the JTP Plan and Comprehensive Workforce Development Plan *Upon receipt of the award: -Authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award -Authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts

			2.			Community Development Housing Rehabilitation & Emergency Services Program Continuation Plan

						Ratifying the signature of the Chair of the Board on the application To the Michigan State Housing Development Authority For the period 9/1/99 – 8/30/01 To provide housing rehabilitation services to 21 homeowners who earn 50-80 percent of the median income and live outside the cities of Ann Arbor & Ypsilanti For a program amount of $300,000 -Federal revenue: $300,000 -Match: 0 -Indirect Costs: 0 Upon receipt of the award: -Authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award -Amending the budget -Authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts

			3.			Annual FY 2000 Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program

						Ratifying the signature of the Administrator on the application To the Michigan Family Independence Agency For the period 9/1/99 – 08/31/00 To provide supplemental weatherization services to low income families such as insulation of attics, sidewalls, floors, crawl spaces, roof replacement/repair, furnace replacement/repair, health & safety issues resulting from faulty hot water tanks and furnaces For a program amount of $158,528 -Federal Revenue: $158,528 -Match: 0 -Indirect Costs: $0 Upon receipt of the award: -Authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award -Amending the budget -Authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts

			4.			Annual 2000 Foster Grandparent Program (Federal)

						Ratifying the signature of the Administrator on the application To Corporation for National & Community Services For the period 01/01/00 – 12/31/00 To provide employment opportunities to 64 older adults (aged 60+) to work 20-hours per week, one-one-one with children with special needs in a not-for-profit community setting For a program amount of $357,303 -Federal Revenue: $270,777 -Match: $ 86,526 (Budgeted $43,556 + $17,280 Inkind + -Indirect Costs: 0 CSBG $25,690) Upon receipt of the award: -Authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award -Amending the budget -Authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts

	1.				Money Purchase Pension Plan Bylaw Amendment

					Amending the bylaws of the Money Purchase Pension Plan To change section 7 to provide a process of filling a vacancy by appointment vs. special election of an employee trustee

	2.				Washtenaw County Employee Retirement Ordinance Amendment

					Amending the Washtenaw County Employees Retirement Ordinance Section 4 – Membership in Retirement System To provide a window of opportunity for non-union employees and other union employees as specified in their contracts/letter of understanding to allow for re-entry into the system

	Michigan Ability Partners Affordable Housing Agreement

	Authorizing the Administrator to sign the agreement With Michigan Ability Partners For acquisition and rehabilitation of 9445 Main Street, Whitmore Lake to support a housing project for up to 7 homeless, disabled veterans Project known as the "Home Zone" *For a total acquisition of $205,525 -Washtenaw County $20,000 -Veteran Administration $128,213 -Michigan Housing Trust Fund $57,312

		Annual Secondary Road Patrol Program

		Ratifying the signature of the Chair of the Board on the application To the Office of Highways Safety Planning For the period 10/1/99 – 9/30/00 To enhance existing law enforcement services of 3 deputies on primary and secondary roads For a program amount of $263,520 -State revenue: $263,520 -Match: 0 -indirect costs: $9,218 Upon receipt of the award: -Authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award -Amending the budget -Authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts
