	Use E911 funds and existing sheriff dispatch budget to fund operating expenses and capital improvements For the Washtenaw Regional Dispatch Center In the amount of $400,000 annually For a period 1/1/00 - 12/31/05

	RECOMMENDATION: Approval

B.	Community Mental Health

	Implementation of the Habilitation Waiver for the Elderly and Disabled

	Accepting the grant funds From the Michigan Department of Community Health For the provision of providing Community Mental Health services to 160 elderly and disabled Comm. Mental Health will provide administrative oversight & coordination Contracted Non Profit service providers will provide direct service delivery In the amount of $1,587,560 -Services $1,157,120 -Adm. Alloc. $430,440 -Indirect Costs: $33,916 To support a total of 9.5 positions as follows: -Creating four 1.0 grant funded Client Service Manager positions -Grade 17, Group 11 -Salary Range: $25,974 - $32,136 -5.5 currently vacant positions will be grant funded Amending the budget

	Annual Application for 1999 Community Services Block Grant

	Ratifying the Chair of the Board's signature on the plan application To Family Independence Agency For the purpose of eliminating and preventing the causes, conditions, and effects of poverty and promote social and economic opportunities for low-income individuals Through the Community Services Agency Programs and Workforce Development Programs For the period 10/1/98 – 9/30/99 For a program amount of $732,894 -Family Indep. Agency: $367,655 -Match: $365,239 (County budgeted-CSA) -Indirect Costs: $0 *Upon receipt of the award: -Authorize the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award -Amend the budget -Authorize the Administrator to sign delegate contracts

	Application for 1999 School To Work for Students with Disabilities Program

	Ratifying the Chair of the Board's signature on the plan application To the Michigan Jobs Commission To serve students age 18-26 with disabilities in the K-12 system to provide assistance in the transition from school to work Collaborating agencies include Chrysler (serving as mentor), Xycom, Inc. (serving as mentor), Washtenaw Community College and Washtenaw Intermediate School District For the period 10/1/98 – 9/30/99 For a program amount of $150,000 -Mich. Jobs Commission $75,000 -Match: $75,000 (From agencies listed above) -Indirect Costs: $7,500 *Upon receipt of the award: -Authorize the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award -Amend the budget -Authorize the Administrator to sign delegate contracts

	Annual Application for Secondary Road Patrol Program and Traffic Accident Prevention Program

	Ratifying the signature of the Chair of the Board on the application To the Office of Highway Safety To continue funding three Road Patrol Deputies In the amount of $252,540 -Match: 0 -Indirect Costs: $9,218 *Upon receipt of the award: -Authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award -Amending the budget -Authorizing the Administrator to sign the delegate contracts
