*Project Costs: $4,900,000 (to be paid through special assessments collected from the  
benefited properties)

  • Saline City Water System Improvement Project

      *Directing the Board of Public Works to undertake a water system improvement 
    project 
    *For the City of Saline 
    *Project Costs: $7,400,000 (to be paid through rates charged to users of the  
    system and connection fees charge to new users.) 
      RECOMMENDATION: Approval at the Board meeting
     
  • Contract with City of Saline
    		•
      *For the Saline City Water System Improvement Project 
    *Approving the contract 
    *With the City of Saline
      RECOMMENDATION: Approval at the Board meeting
    C. Finance
      First Quarter Budget Adjustments
      *Approving amendments to the 1997 & 1998 budgets

    D. Public Health
      Providing Medication for Washtenaw County Care Plan Participants
      *To provide medications to Washtenaw County Health Care patients 
    *Accepting the grant award in the amount of $50,000 
    *Authorizing the Administrator to sign the delegate contracts with: 
    -U/M Health Systems 
    -St. Joseph Mercy Hospital 
    -Oakwood Hospital Beyer Center 
    *Amending the budgets
      RECOMMENDATION: Approval
    E. Sheriff
      D.A.R.E. Program
      *To provide 12 DARE classes specifically targeting the middle and high school student populations 
    *Authorizing the Administrator to sign the application for funds 
    *From the Michigan Department of Community Health, Office of Drug Control Policy 
    *For the period 10/1/98 - 9/30/99 
    *For the amount of $21,579
