A.    A public hearing to solicit citizen input on a proposed tax millage of 0.5 mills, pursuant to Public Act 283 of 1909 (MCLA 224.20) to keep county roads or bridges already build in reasonable repair, and in condition reasonably safe and fit for public travel.

IX. REPORT OF THE CHAIR OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS:

     A.    A resolution proclaiming the month of October, 2014 as Domestic Violence Awareness month in Washtenaw County and recognizing the work of the Safe House Center to protect survivors

     B.    A resolution honoring the life and work of Andrew Luckhardt

XV. RESOLUTIONS:

A. WAYS AND MEANS MEETINGS - September 17, 2014

1.    A resolution ratifying the signature of the County Administrator on the grant application to the Federal Bureau of Justice Assistance Grant.

2.    A resolution levying a special tax to keep existing roads, streets, paths, bridges and culverts in reasonable repair and in a condition reasonably safe and fit for public travel. 

    a.    A resolution rejecting and allowing items in the Determination in Accordance with Act 283 of 1909 (to be moved at Board meeting) 

    b.    A proposed motion amending the resolution levying a special tax to keep existing roads, streets, paths, bridges and culverts in reasonable repair and in a condition reasonably safe and fit for public travel (to be moved at Board meeting)

B. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS

1.    Resolution authorizing payment of claims with the last previously adopted claim and continuing through the date of September 12, 2014.
