OCTOBER 21, 2009
1. Resolution
ratifying the County Administrator's signature on the electronic grant
application to the State of Michigan, Office of Highway Safety Planning, for
the Safe Communities 2009/2010 one year grant program in the amount of
$163,985 for the FY October 1, 2009 - September 30, 2010; authorizing
the County Administrator to sign Notice of Grant Awards; amending the budget
and authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts
2. Resolution
approving the agreement with AFSCME Local 2733 and Washtenaw County for the
two year period January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2011 regarding economic
concessions
3. Resolution
approving the agreement with the Assistant Prosecutors Association, Public
Defenders Association and Washtenaw County for the two year period January
1, 2010 through December 31, 2011 regarding economic
concessions
4. Resolution
approving the agreement with the Michigan Nurses Association - Units I
& II and Washtenaw County for the two year period January 1, 2010
through December 31, 2011 regarding economic concessions
B. WAYS AND MEANS -
OCTOBER 7, 2009
1. Resolution
ratifying the signature of the Chair of the Board of Commissioners and the
County Administrator on the 2009/2010 State Child Care Fund Budget Summary
Form 2091 to the State of Michigan, Department of Human Services, Bureau of
Juvenile Justice for the Child Care Fund for the Trial Court, Children's
Services and the Washtenaw County Department of Human Services in amount of
$9,011,527 for the period of October 1, 2009 through September 30,
2010
2. Resolution
ratifying the signature of the County Administrator's signature on the ETCS
Grant Application to the Area Agency on Aging 1-B for American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding for the Nutrition Program for the Elderly
(Congregate Meals Program and Home Delivered Meals Program) for the period
of October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010; and the budget in the amount
of $61,018; authorizing the County Administrator to sign Notice of Grant
Awards; amending the budget and authorizing the Administrator to sign
delegate contracts
3. Resolution
ratifying the signature of the County Administrator's signature on the on
the 2009 Amendment #1 Weatherization Low Income Home Energy Assistance
Program Plan to the Michigan Department of Housing Human Services in the
amount of $193,500 for the program period May 24, 2009 through September
30,2010 for Employment Training and Community Services; authorizing the
County Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award; approve the budgets;
and authorizing the County Administrator to sign delegate
contracts
4. Resolution
approving an Indigent Veterans Relief Millage of 1/40 of a mill to be levied
in December, 2009 for use in calendar year 2010
5. Resolution
authorizing the County Administrator to sign a contract with Governmental
Consultant Services, Inc. for a two year period beginning on November 1,
2009 and ending on October 31, 2011
6. Resolution
approving a millage of 0.0400 of a mill pursuant to Public Act 88 of 1913
(MCLA 46.161) to promote the agricultural, industrial and tourist advantages
of Washtenaw County to be levied in December, 2009 for use in calendar year
2010
C. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS:
1. Resolution
authorizing payment of claims commencing with the last previously approved
claim and continuing through the date of October 9,
