approving the appointment of Richard Fleece, B.S., R.S. as Health Officer
for the Public Health Department effective October 1, 2009

A. WAYS AND MEANS -
SEPTEMBER 16, 2009
- Resolution
authorizing the Administrator to sign the contract to continue supporting
the City of Ypsilanti's technology for the period September 21, 2009
through September 21, 2012
- Resolution
ratifying the County Administrator's signature on the ETCS grant
application to the Area Agency on Aging 1-B for American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding for the Nutrition Program for the elderly
(congregate meals program and home delivered meals program) for the period
of July 1, 2009 through September 30, 2009; and the budget, in the amount
of $24,983; authorizing the County Administrator to sign the notice of
grant action award; amending the budget; and authorizing the County
Administrator to sign delegate contracts
- Resolution
approving the Community Support and Treatment Services Department budget
for the 2009-2010 Fiscal Year; authorizing the County Administrator to sign
delegate contracts; and approving position modifications
- Resolution
authorizing the County Administrator's signature on the Public Health
Department Comprehensive Planning, Budgeting and Contracting (CPBC)
agreement for the period October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010;
approving the Public Health Department's 2009/2010 budget; authorizing the
County Administrator to sign delegate contracts; approving fees; and
approving position eliminations
B. WAYS AND MEANS -
SEPTEMBER 2, 2009
- Resolution
authorizing the Administrator to sign the contract with Washtenaw
Intermediate School District for Educational Services for the Children's
Services Detention and Day Programs for a total amount of $461,068 for the
2009/2010 School Year and a second year contract for the 2010/2011 school
year
- Resolution
ratifying the County Administrator's signature on the ETCS grant
application to the Area Agency on Aging 1-B for the Nutrition program for
the elderly for the period of October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2012;
authorizing the County Administrator's signature on the application for the
first year of funding in the amount of $1,133,747 for the period of October
1, 2009 through September 30, 2010; authorizing the Administrator to sign
the notice of grant award; amending the budget; and authorizing the County
Administrator to sign delegate and lease contracts
C. WAYS AND MEANS - AUGUST
5, 2009
- Resolution
ratifying the submission of the electronic grant application to the Bureau
of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs of the United States
Department of Justice for the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance
Grant for the Sheriff's Office in the amount of $39,125 for the period of
October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2012
D. NEW BUSINESS:
- Resolution
setting a public hearing on October 7, 2009 at 6:45 pm to solicit citizen
input on a proposed tax millage of 0.0400 of a mill pursuant to Public Act
88 of 1913 (MCLA 46.161) to promote the agricultural, industrial and
tourist advantages of Washtenaw County
- Resolution
approving the Board of Commissioners' calendar to review and adopt the
2010/2011 budget, including the addition of a special board of
commissioners meeting on October 22, 2009 to hold the statutorily required
public hearing on the budget (Proposed
Calendar)
E. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS:

Resolution authorizing payment of claims commencing with the
last previously approved claim and continuing through the date of September
2, 2009
