RESOLUTIONS:

A. WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE – January 17, 2007:

1. Resolution ratifying the signature of the Washtenaw County Administrator on the application to the State of Michigan Historic Preservation Grant Program for funding for a Public and High School Education Initiative in the amount of $41,832 for the period July 1, 2007 through July 31, 2008 for the Department of Planning and Environment; authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award, approving the budget, and authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contract
2. Resolution to ratify the Administrator’s signature on the seven (7) applications and exclusive option to Purchase Development Rights Agreements, as recommended by the Washtenaw County Agricultural Lands Preservation Advisory Committee (ALPAC), submitted to the combined Michigan Agricultural Preservation Fund (MAPF)/Federal Farm and Ranch lands Protection Program (FRPP) for local Purchase of Development Rights Assistance Funds in the amount of $4,524,000 for the 2007 MAPF/FRPP application round; authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award; approving the budget and authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts
3. Resolution ratifying the Chair of the Board’s signature on the Application to the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth (MDLEG) for the ETCS Fiscal Year (FY) 2007 Jobs, Education and Training Plan in the amount of $74,758, for the period of October 1, 2006 to September 30, 2007; authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award; approving the budget; and authorizing the Administrator to sign the delegate contracts
4. Resolution ratifying the County Administrator’s signature on the ETCS 2007 MPSC Weatherization Assistance and Client Education Program application to the Department of Human Services (DHS) in the amount of $191,716 for the period of January 1, 2007 through August 31, 2007 for ETCS; authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award; approving the budget; authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts
5. Resolution accepting the Michigan State University Extension Federal Food Stamp Nutrition Education Grant in the amount of $33,524 for the period of October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007; authorizing the County Administrator to sign the grant contract; amending the 2006-2007 Public Health fund budget; and authorizing the County Administrator to sign delegate contracts
6. Resolution ratifying the signature of the County Administrator on the Application to the Department of Human Services for Juvenile Accountability Block Grant Program in the amount of $28,221 for the period April 1,2007 through March 31, 2008; amending the budget
7. Resolution requesting the ratification of the County Administrator’s signature on the application to the State of Michigan, Department of Natural Resources, for the 2007 Marine Safety Grant Program for one year, beginning January 1, 2007 and ending December 31, 2007, in a maximum amount of $147,099; authorizing the Administrator to sign the notice of grant award; amending the budget and authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts
8. Resolution approving the agreement with the Police Officers Association of Michigan and Washtenaw County for a one year period January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007
