A.                  WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE May 19, 2004 :

 

 

 

 

 

1.       Resolution ratifying the Chair of the Boards Signature on the Employment Training and Community Services Groups Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Program Year (PY) 2003 Incentive Grant in the Amount of $19,695 For the period of July 1, 2003 Through June 30, 2004; Authorizing the County Administrator to Sign Notice of Grant Awards; Approving the Budget and Authorizing the Administrator to sign Delegate Contracts

2.       Resolution Authorizing the County Administrator to sign a contract with P.O.W.E.R., INC., on behalf of the WHEP Collaborative , Allocating $24,600 in housing contingency funds for Homebuyer Education Services to lower-income residents of Washtenaw County

3.       Resolution Ratifying the County Administrators Signature on the Help America Vote Act (HAVA ) Grant Application, Phase I: Optical Scan Voting Tabulators & Election Management Systems (EMS) For the period of May 2, 2004 Through January 1, 2006 for the State of Michigan, Michigan Department of State; Authorizing the County Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award; Approve the Budgets; And authorizing the County Administrator to sign delegate contracts

 

 

 

 

 

B.     WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE June 2, 2004

 

 

 

 

 

4.        Resolution ratifying the County Administrators signature on the Employment Training and Community Services (ETCS) Groups Grant Application to the Area Agency on Aging 1-B for the Nutrition Program for the Elderly Congregate Meals Program and Home Delivered Meals Program in the amount of $892,988 for the period of October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005; authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award; amending the budget; and authorizing the County Administrator to sign delegate and lease contracts

 

5.        Resolution submitting to the Washtenaw County Electors a question of whether the quarter mill presently in effect for Parks and Recreation purposes should be renewed for ten years, beginning 2007 and terminating 2016 and certifying the ballot question for said proposition

 

6.        Resolution authorizing the County Administrator to sign a contract with Washtenaw Community Health Organization allocating $75,000 in Housing Contingency Funds to support the acquisition and Rehabilitation of two (2) existing group homes in Pittsfield and Northfield Townships

 

7.        Resolution eliminating a position in the Treasurers Office effective June 18, 2004 resulting in an annual savings of $65,327

 

8.        Resolution ratifying the County Administrators signature on the application to the Michigan Family Independence Agency for the Building Restorative Communities Year One Implementation Grant in the amount of $100,000 for the period of October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005

 

9.        Resolution authorizing the County Administrator to sign the application to the Michigan State Court Administrative Office for the Michigan Drug Court Grant Program Single Jurisdiction Planning grant funding in the amount of $94,667 for the period of July 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004

 

10.    Resolution ratifying the signature of the County Administrator on the Energy Services contract with Chevron Energy Solutions in the amount of $6,088,652 for the period of June 2, 2004 through January 31, 2010

 

11.    Resolution ratifying the signature of the County Administrator on the grant proposal to the State of Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Growths Energy Office for the Large Scale Solar Photovoltaic Demonstration for the Facilities Management Group of the Support Services Department in the amount of $150,000 for the period of July 01, 2004 through June 30, 2005

 

12.    Resolution ratifying the County Administrators signature on the Compassion Capital Fund Demonstration grant application submitted to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in the amount of $856,468 for the period of January 1, 2005, through December 31, 2005; authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award; and amend the budget
