A.                  WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE April 3, 2002:

 

 

 

  1. Resolution to eliminate an Executive Secretary position and create an Office Specialist position in the Office of the Drain Commissioner
  2. Resolution authorizing the Administrator to sign the Application to the Department of Health and Human Services for the Head Start Program for the period of August 1, 2002 through July 31, 2003 in the amount of $4,237,526; authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award; approving the Head Start budget and authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts
  3. Resolution ratifying the County Administrators signature on an Application to the State of Michigan, Office of Drug Control Policy, Department of Community Health, Byrne Grant Program for the Juvenile Diversion/Restoration Program in the Prosecuting Attorneys Office in the amount of $244,362 for the period October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003; authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award; amending the budget and authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts
  4. Resolution ratifying the County Administrators signature on an Application with the US Department of Justice - Office of Justice Programs' Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, for a Juvenile Mentoring Program for the Prosecuting Attorneys Office in the amount of $247,720 (over a 3 year period) commencing September 1, 2002 through August 31, 2005
  5. Resolution authorizing the Chair of the Board to sign an Agreement with the Washtenaw Health Plan Corporation for low-income health services provided by the County
  6. Resolution to authorize the Chair of the Board to sign an Agreement with the Washtenaw Health Plan Corporation for leased positions to be assigned to the Washtenaw Health Plan
  7. Resolution to authorize an intergovernmental transfer of $1,400,036 to the State of Michigan for the purpose of contributing to a disproportionate share hospital pool which will be used to assure expanded access to medical care for the indigent population in Washtenaw County
  8. Resolution to authorize the County Administrator to accept funds from St. Joseph Mercy Health Systems as per contract

 

 

 

B.                  WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE April 17, 2002:

 

 

 

      9.            Resolution authorizing the Administrator to sign the contract with Washtenaw Intermediate School District for education for the Detention Center and the OBrien Center for two School Years for a total amount of $613,691

 10.            Resolution authorizing the hiring of Jeanne Eiler as a Senior Management Analyst at an annual salary of $55,000

 11.            Resolution approving the 2002 Washtenaw County Equalization Report

 12.            Resolution establishing a Space Plan Committee
