County Administrator’s signature on the application to the Office of Services
to the Aging (OSA) for the 2002 Foster Grandparent
Program in the amount of $27,390 for the period of October 1, 2001
through September 30, 2002 for the Employment Training and Community Services
Group; authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award;
amending the budget; authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts 2.
Resolution ratifying the
County Administrator’s signature on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2001 Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
amendment #1 for a total program of $238,650 to the Michigan Family
Independence Agency (FIA) for the period of January 1, 2001 through September
30, 2002; amending the budget and authorizing the Administrator to sign the
delegate contracts 3.
Resolution authorizing
acceptance of the Clean Michigan Initiative Grant
Award from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality for a total
program amount of $463,402 for the period of April 1, 2001 to March 31, 2003
for the Drain Commissioner’s Office; authorizing the Administrator to sign
the notice of Grant Award; amending the budget and authorizing the
Administrator to sign delegate contracts 4.
Resolution ratifying the
signature of the county Administrator on an application with the Michigan
Justice Training Commission for the Michigan Justice Training Grant Fund Act
302 of 1982 as amended for the Washtenaw Annual
Retraining Program (W.A.R.P. 2002) for the period of January 1, 2002
through December 31, 2002 in the amount of $74,932 for the Sheriff’s
Department; authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award;
amending the budget and authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate
contracts 5.
Resolution ratifying the
electronic submission of the application to the Bureau of Justice assistance
for the Local Law Enforcement Block Grants Program
for the Sheriff’s Department in the amount of $101,391 for the period October
1, 2001 through September 30, 2002; authorizing the Administrator to sign the
Notice of Grant Award; amending the budget and authorizing the Administrator
to sign delegate contracts 6.
Resolution ratifying the
electronic submission by the Administrator on the application to the National
Science Foundation Digital Government Program for the Webpolis
Consortium in the amount of $731,477 for the period of January 1, 2002

Rate to adjust the 5.50 authorized Operating Millage rate to 4.7174, the .50
mills for Parks & Recreation to .4900 and establish the Natural Areas
Millage at .2500 for 2001 as the rates permanently established by MCLA
211.34d; for Wednesday, September 19, 2001 at 6:45 p.m. in the Board Room,
County Administration Building, in compliance with section 2 of act 43 p.a.
1963, 2nd ex. sess. (M.C.L.A. 141.412), section 24e of act 206,
p.a. 1893 (M.C.L.A. 211.24e), the millage reduction fractions from act 6,
p.a. 1981, and act 539, p.a. 1982 (M.C.L.A. 211.34d), and section 6 of act
264 p.a. 1987, (M.C.L.A. 141.471), and section 10(3) of act 106 p.a. 1985
(M.C.L.A. 207.630); and section 6 of act 264, p.a. 1987 (M.C.L.A. 141.47);
