RESOLUTIONS:

A. WAYS & MEANS September 6, 2000:

1. Resolution ratifying the County Administrators signature on the application to the Office of Services to the Aging (OSA) for the 2001 Foster Grandparent Program for the Employment Training and Community Services Group in the amount of $27,390 for the period of October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001;authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award; amending the budget and authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts

2. Resolution ratifying the County Administrators signature on the application to the State Family Independence Agency for the Fiscal Year 2001 State Emergency Funds for the Employment Training and Community Services Group in the amount of $52,684, for the period of October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001; authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award; amending the budget and authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts

3. Resolution approving the elimination of the Community Services Professional I/II position within the Employment Training Community Services (ETCS) Group effective September 20, 2000

4. Resolution authorizing the County Administrator, with the assistance of Corporation Counsel and the Facilities Management Director, to negotiate and sign a long-term Parking Agreement with the City of Ann Arbor for the Ann-Ashley Parking Structure

5. Resolution authorizing Washtenaw County to maintain a separate set of funds for LAWNETs forfeiture proceeds, and delegating authority to approve LAWNET expenditures to the County Administrator

6. Resolution ratifying the signature of the Administrator on the application to the Department of Health and Human Services for the Head Start Facilities Planning Grant for the period of August 1, 2000 through July 31, 2001 in the amount of $30,000; authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award; approving the budget and authorizing the Administrator to sign the delegate contracts

7. Resolution authorizing the Administrator to sign the Affordable Housing Agreement with Michigan Ability Partners for a recoverable grant for acquisition and construction on 3870 Packard Road, Lot #12, Ann Arbor, site of the Ability Systems Prototype Project, in the amount of $60,000 for a total project cost of $300,000

8. Resolution directing the Board of Public Works to undertake a Wastewater Collection System for the Townships of Lyndon and Unadilla

9. Resolution ratifying the Chair of the Board's signature on an application to the State of Michigan, Office of Highway Safety Planning, for the continuation of the Sheriff's Department Secondary Road Patrol Program, for the period of October 1, 2000 to September 30, 2001, in the amount of $296,460

10. Resolution authorizing the Chair of the Board to sign the application to the Michigan Family Independence Agency for the Friend of the Court Fiscal Year 2001 Title IV-D Cooperative Reimbursement Program in the amount of $3,409,577 for the period of October 1, 2000 through September 30,2001

11. Resolution authorizing the Administrator to sign the Purchase Agreement for Microwave Communications Equipment between the County Service Center on Hogback Road and the Ann Arbor City Hall for the Washtenaw 800 MHz Radio System

12. Resolution ratifying the signature of the Chair of the Board on the Employment Training and Community Services Groups Workforce Investment Acts Program Year (PY) 2000 Youth Plan in the amount of $230,187 for the period of July 1, 2000 through June 30, 2001; authorizing the County Administrator to sign notice of grant award; approval of the budget; and authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts

13. Resolution ratifying the signature of the Chair of the Board on the Employment Training and Community Services Groups Workforce Investment Acts Program Year (PY) 2000 Adult Plan in the amount of $254,766 for the period of July 1, 2000 through June 30, 2001; authorizing the County Administrator to sign notice of grant award; approving the budget and authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts.

14. Resolution ratifying the signature of the Chair of the Board on the Employment Training and Community Services Groups Workforce Investment Acts Program Year (PY) 2000 Dislocated Worker Plan in the amount of $217,785 for the period of July 1, 2000 through June 30, 2001; authorizing the County Administrator to sign notice of grant award; approving the budget and authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts

15. Resolution ratifying the County Administrators signature on the application and acceptance of award with the Bureau of Justice Assistance for the Local Law Enforcement Block Grants Program 2000 in the amount of $110,302

16. Resolution authorizing the acceptance of the grant award in the amount of $940,020 for the 2001 Comprehensive Community Corrections Program for the period October 1, 2000 to September 30, 2001; authorizing the Administrator to sign the Notice of Grant Award; amending the budget; creating and eliminating positions; and authorizing the Administrator to sign delegate contracts
