Bob's Final Update
In the months since I announced my intent to retire, I’ve been busy with my normal duties while also working with the Board of Commissioners and Verna to ensure a smooth transition in the leadership of this incredible organization.
Bob’s Update – March 15, 2010
I realize that my communication has been primarily operational and that’s intentional. We began this year with an end in mind; we knew that my retirement was five months away and we had a lot to accomplish before then. We are clear on what we need to achieve and have created a plan for getting there.
Bob’s Update – A Conversation with our next Administrator … Verna McDaniel
The Board of Commissioners unanimously passed a resolution that appoints Verna J. McDaniel as Washtenaw County Administrator effective May 15, 2010. I wanted to take some time this week to talk with Verna about her plans as County Administrator. This conversation took place Friday, February 5th.

Bob's Update - January 11, 2010
The first week of 2010 was an important one for the Board of Commissioners, with the election of their officers and the announcement of the selection process for the new Administrator.
