Daylight Saving Comes Early!
As you know, the legislation pulling Daylight Savings Time (DST) from
March 31st back to MARCH 11th will be implemented this coming Sunday,
March 11th. County IT staff installed the patch for webmail on Monday,
March 5th for the local units of government. If you are experiencing
problems with other computer applications, please consult your in-house IT
staff. Computer users can also
go to www.microsoft.com to
download and install Windows XP Patch KB931836,
this will install the DST Patch. Though
County IT has confidence in the Microsoft patch, you may want to
see other measures you could take to ensure the correct
times for future appointments within the Daylight Savings Time extended
period from March 11th to March 31st, and again in the fall from October
