Where Are The Landmarks of Washtenaw County?

Is there a structure, an object, or distinguishing landscape in your community that has outstanding historical, Ypsilanti -Depot Town Clockaesthetic or cultural importance?  Are there visual treasures in your community that let you know you're home?

From April 16, 2007 to April 16, 2008, Washtenaw County wants to celebrate and promote the landmarks of our community.  The digital photos submitted will be judged at year's end, and many will be published and displayed throughout the year at www.eWashtenaw.org -the County's public web site.

30 photos will be acknowledged as finalists and approximately 15 winning photos will be mounted and framed and given to the photographer, to the jurisdiction where the landmark is located, with one copy kept and displayed in County buildings.  And, at the end of the year, winning photographs will be on public display locally, with a reception for the winning entrants and their guests.  Join in this yearlong celebration!
